Hong Kong EDA workshop will be held at Marco Polo Hongkong Hotel, on Aug 31st, 2024. More details.
The Electronic Design Automation (EDA) Center at the Chinese University of Hong Kong's (CUHK) Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) department, led by Martin D.F. Wong, is a research center focused on solving practical EDA problems and conducting leading-edge research in the field. EDA is an interdisciplinary area of research that involves using software tools, AI and various methodologies to design, verify, and test electronic systems.
The EDA Center's core members have expertise in a variety of areas related to EDA, including Logic Synthesis, Physical Design, Design for Manufacturing, VLSI Packaging & Testing, Design Space Exploration, and other related areas. The EDA Center's research projects are diverse and cover various aspects of EDA. Some of the current projects include developing algorithms and AI for efficient and accurate timing analysis, improving the reliability of integrated circuits, developing techniques for 3D-IC design, and investigating the impact of emerging technologies such as quantum computing on EDA. The EDA Center collaborates with industry partners and other academic institutions to ensure that its research has real-world applications and impact.
